Remote Media Access

CyberLink Live provides a secure means of remote access to personal media stored on one's home PC, anytime and anywhere, from any internet-connected web browser/device. CyberLink Live placeshifts digital media content from the home PC, allowing users to remotely access their multimedia—streaming live TV, watching videos, monitoring webcams, accessing music/audio files, downloading photos and managing documents—from any web connected browser, intuitively and securely.

System Requirements

In order to achieve the best remote media access experience possible, please ensure that your system meets the following requirements:

Operating System

  • Windows 7
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows XP (Home or Professional) with Service Pack 2
  • Windows XP Media Center Edition (2004 or 2005)

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

  • Intel Pentium IV 3.0 GHz processor or AMD Athlon 3800+ or equivalent
    Note: A slower processor may cause excessive buffering, or "choppiness" when
    streaming videos and TV
  • 1 GB memory
  • At least 100 MB disk space. We recommend at least 1GB disk space for media
    storage and transfer
  • TV Tuner card* (View all compatible cards here)
