In StreamAuthor, users can choose the layout of the presentation,
such as, the size of video and presentation slides, change the background
template style and more. There are over 20 different template combinations
for you to choose from. You can also choose from having only video
and audio contents, or have two presentation slides showing side-by-side,
or having a table of contents for easy navigation. The following
is an example of how to adjust your presentation layout.

Adjust Presentation Layout
In the example used for this tutorial, we have divided into
two sections. For the beginning introduction we will use the
template which only shows the video files. Then halfway though
the presentation, we will switch to the layout with video
and presentation slides. Here's how to do it.
- Select Presentation Layout Format: Browse through
the template library to find the right layout format you
want.
Example: we want to select a template
with only video and audio.
- Apply Presentation Layout Template: Simply drag-and-drop
your selected template onto the template timeline.
Example: this is the template for the beginning of the presentation,
so be sure to place the template to the very beginning of
the presentation timeline.
- Select 2nd Presentation Layout: Same as step one,
browse through the templates to find the layout you want.
Example: we want to synchronize
video with PowerPoint slides, therefore we selected a template
with video and 1 slide placed on the right.
- Apply 2nd Presentation Layout Template: Simply
drag-and-drop your selected template onto the timeline.
Example: we first browse through
the presentation to find a place suitable for the layout
change, then mark it with the timeline marker, and then
place the new layout to the place marked.
