Previewing Your Presentation and Adding Final Touches

Before producing your final presentation, it is wise to first review it in the Preview Mode. The Preview Mode offers a slightly scaled down replica of your presentation. Though the preview size is slightly smaller than the end product, this mode includes the Timeline, which will help you with any final editing touches that you may need to make.

After changing to the Preview Mode and pressing "Play" your rich media presentation will begin. The Preview mode will help you to make sure that the following components of your presentation have been implemented as intended.

Check Your Synchronization
The synchronization of video and slide files is an important part of a well-made presentation. You can use the timeline to make any necessary modifications. If you need to make more significant changes, you may want to switch back to the File Studio mode.

Templates
The Preview mode offers you your first glimpse of how presentation fits with your chosen template(s). If you are satisfied with your templates, continue on to the next section. You can select a different template by right-clicking on the template in the Timeline. Choose "Change Template", and then select a new template from the menu.

Table of Contents (not all templates include a TOC)
In the preview mode, you have likely noticed that TOC changes as your presentation is in progress. The TOC is completely customizable.

The TOC Settings Window
By clicking on the TOC button in the main menu or selecting "TOC Settings …" from the Edit menu, you will activate the TOC Settings Window. There you can modify the fonts and type sizes that are used on the TOC. You can also alter the look of the TOC Window by changing the background color or adding a background image. (Note: Specific title, author and copyright information can be filled in by using the Make Presentation mode)

TOC Settings on the Timeline
Similar to the Video and Slide items on the Timeline, the TOC items are fully customizable. If you would like to modify the timing, add or remove items, or rename TOC items, you can do it all on the Timeline. Right-clicking in the TOC track will provide you with a number of options. As with the Slides and Templates, you can modify the timing by manipulating the size of the TOC item on the Timeline.
