Publish Your Presentation on the Web

Now you can create and publish your multimedia presentation using StreamAuthor, the all-inclusive solution for creating rich-media presentation. You can publish your rich media presentation as either HTML document or as executable file formats (EXE) on the Internet, Intranet, shared network drive, local computer, or a corporate content management server. In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how you can upload your already created presentation file onto the web, such as web server, media web server, or CyberLink Content Management Server (through the use of CyberLink TCMS).

  • Web Server: Is a computer that controls and upload web pages, files and other information on your website. The computer is running on a special server operating system like Unix or Microsoft Windows NT for you to access files and data stored on your website.

  • Windows Media Services Server: It acts as a web server that streams media files. This specially designed tool not only broadcast streaming services, but also supports traffic management for the web. It allows you to deliver streamed media content directly from the web servers.

  • CyberLink Content Management Server (CyberLink TCMS): It is a cross-platform content repository that provides enterprises the ability to quickly and efficiently publish, manage, deliver and measure learning materials.
