Once you have created your presentation (how to Make Presentation), click on the Publish tab to enter the publishing menu.

Step 1: Select a Publishing Destination
You can select an existing destination profile in the Destination Library, or you can choose to create a new publishing destination or edit from an existing destination profile. To do so, just click on the create button on the bottom.

1a: To publish your presentation on the web, first you have to select the Presentation Format you want to publish in. StreamAuthor allows you to publish your presentation as a Presentation, (with audio, video and web contents), an EXE file (merge presentation into single executable file), or a Movie (single media file with video and audio content). Note: you can only upload EXE file format presentation on a web server.

1b: Then you have to select the where you would like to publish your presentation. You have to first click on "Publish to a remote server" then select the following server types in the menu. Web Server: you can publish any presentation format to a web server; as a presentation, exe file or as a movie. Windows Media Server: you can only publish your presentation as a presentation or movie format. CyberLink TCMS Server: you can only publish your presentation as a presentation or movie format.

Step 2: Enter a Subfolder Name

Then you can enter a subfolder name for your presentation to be uploaded on to.

Step 3: Transfer your file to the selected destination

When you have selected your destination profile and ready to publish your presentation on to the web, just click on the Transfer button, then the program will start uploading your presentation to the destination you have selected.

Step 4: View the Final Result

Once StreamAuthor have finished uploading your presentation, you can view your final result by clicking on the View Button. The program will lead you to the URL you have specified in you destination profile.
