Creating a Slideshow

Easy Video Editor
There are only five steps to create videos in the Easy Editor, where you can use both video clips and photos in your productions. The Slideshow Creator is only for creating slideshows with photos.
The Editing Workspace
Learn the different views on the editing workspace: the Timeline and Storyboard views. You can also adjust the height of the whole editing workspace and undock the preview window if you have dual monitors.
Basic Editing Techniques
Once you have your video clips, audio files, and images in the editing workspace/timeline you can start editing them with a number of different functions, including splitting, trimming, and much more.
Adding Title Effects
The difference between the Adding titles to your video can help you convey your message more effectively, and can make it more appealing. Switch to the Title Room so that you can add title effects to your production.
Subtitles are text that matches the dialog in videos, usually displayed at the bottom of
the screen. Subtitles are similar to title effects, except titles can include effects, while subtitles only appear as simple text.
You can add transitions to your media clips to enrich your video production. CyberLink
PowerDirector 12 provides an array of transitions that can be used on or between the
media clips in your production.
Using The Effect Room
The Effect room includes dozens of effects for your images
and video clips. Add these effects by simply dragging them
to the effect track in the timeline or directly onto one of your media clips.
PiP Objects Room
Media clips (images or videos) that display over other media in your project are called PiP (Picture-in-Picture) objects.The PiP Objects room provides a wide variety of other PiP objects, such as decorative borders, static graphics, motion graphics, and dialog balloons.
Before you start editing your production, be sure to select the correct aspect ratio for your project. Digital cameras can produce photos with an aspect ratio of both 4:3 and 16:9. This is to prevent your produced photos from having black bars on their borders.
Audio plays an important role in video productions. Adding music to your video
productions can make them much more appealing to viewers and this chapter introduces the audio editing features in CyberLink PowerDirector 12.
Output & Upload Video
Once you have finished editing your video production, you can output it as a video file, upload it to social networking web sites, or burn it to a disc. This tutorial explains the ways you can output your production and share it with others.
Burning Production to Disc
If the resulting produced video file from your video production is too large to upload to social networking web sites, you can burn it to a disc for playback on a disc player. To do so, click on the Create Disc button to burn your video onto a disc in a few easy steps.
