Taipei, Taiwan----Jan. 8th, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, today demonstrated cutting edge HD DVD advanced interactive capabilities using PowerDVD Ultra to stream additional, online bonus content to HD DVD players.

The user experience and interactive features showcased in the CES demo were driven by Universal Studios Home Entertainment and designed by interactive agency, Schematic, utilizing an HD DVD specially authored by Deluxe Digital Studios, a division of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, to showcase the potential for interactive network capabilities resident on all HD DVD players.

The demonstration used Miami Vice from Universal Studios Home Entertainment to showcase the new advanced features as well as a CyberLink's PowerDVD Ultra installed on an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor based PC platform for playback. This specially authored title includes additional information on navigation and the location of the Deluxe server with the bonus content. Today's demonstration was the first of its kind and it showcases the potential that HD DVD studios have in authoring titles over the coming year to take advantage of the networking capability of the HD DVD players.

PowerDVD Ultra fully supports the HDi specification and offers complete playback of the movie and streaming content in one interface.
