How do I know which version/build number I currently installed?
In most of CyberLink software products, please click CyberLink logo or product name on the user interface (UI). An About window which contains information about the software will open. Or, you can click Help menu and select About product name.
The version/build number is represented as a series of numbers. Take PowerDirector 5 for example, 5.00.1018b, in which 5 indicates the major version of that product and the double zero indicates the minor version. The 1018b indicates the build number, which is the program kernel number.
For most new version of CyberLink products, there's also a SR Number in the About dialog box. It is a series of characters plus numbers. For example, VDE051102-01. Providing this SR number will be very useful when you asking for techical support from CyberLink. This will help us find the exact program you're using in a short time.
