Do I need to upgrade my display in order to play Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D Disc titles and TrueTheater 3D on my computer?

To play TrueTheater 3D and Blu-ray 3D disc the 3D display and 3D glasses are required. To enjoy the high-definition video quality provided by Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D Disc and TrueTheater 3D, we recommend that you connect your graphic card to an HDCP-compliant display through a DVI or HDMI connection. To play Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D Disc and TrueTheater 3D on a computer through a digital DVI or HDMI interface, the following 3 criteria need to be satisfied:

  • Graphics card is HDCP-compliant. Click here for more information
  • Graphics card driver supports HDCP. Click here for more information.
  • Display is HDCP ready. Please contact display manufacturer for more information.



Blu-ray 3D disc and TrueTheater 3D
CyberLink PowerDVD 3D playback support HDMI 1.4 3D, 120Hz time-sequential 3D, NVIDIA 3D Vision, Checkerboard 3D, polarization 3D, anaglyph red/cyan 3D technology.

Note: CyberLink PowerDVD with NVIDIA 3D Vision is not supported under Windows Vista and XP.
