Demonstrates CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution at the Taipei International Digital Electronics Show

Taipei, Taiwan----April 17, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, today unveiled CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution for accessing broadcast TV content via mobile devices. The announcement reveals the extension of CyberLink's leading digital TV expertise for the PC, to include playback of video and TV entertainment via handheld devices such as PDAs and smartphones. CyberLink is demonstrating its latest solution at the Taipei International Digital Electronics Show, starting today.

In close cooperation with its mobile TV partners for content, network service, and hardware, CyberLink is leveraging its extensive experience with digital TV standards and technologies to provide a DVB-H software solution for receiving and processing digital video content. Users access and view the content through the CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution interface.

Based on the Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld standard (DVB-H), CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution incorporates technologies that support the reception and playback of audio-video bitstream and Electronic Service Guide (ESG) data to a standards-based device. CyberLink's solution is also compliant with the Convergence of Broadcast and Mobile Services (DVB-CBMS) specifications for Internet Protocol Datacasting using DVB-H.

CyberLink DVB-H TV Solution features include:
· TV Application consisting of TV A/V Presentation, DVB-H Channel Selection, and ESG Presentation modules.
· ESG parser for handling ESG bootstrap data, ESG XML Fragments, and Data Repositories, etc
· MPEG 4 H.264 video decoder for delivering video on mobile devices
· HE AAC v2 decoder for delivering audio on mobile devices
· Network stack for capturing and de-multiplexing IP packets that can contain either ESG-related data over a FLUTE/ALC protocol, H.264 video payload over a RTP protocol, or a HE-AAC v2 payload over a RTP protocol.

CyberLink is demonstrating its latest handheld solution at the Intel Developer Forum April 17-18 in Beijing, China, as well as the Taipei International Digital Electronics Show April 17-20 in Taipei, Taiwan.
