Plays HD DVDs and Blu-ray Discs via one multi-format player
Taipei, Taiwan----April 13, 2007----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, today launched the retail version of CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra: the world's first single software solution for playing both HD DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.
With optimized hardware acceleration for graphics processors, and compatibility with leading HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc drives, PowerDVD Ultra delivers the ultimate high-definition movie experience on both desktop and notebook computers.

The retail launch follows the successful online release on Christmas Eve 2006. The online version allowed users to install a Blu-ray Disc player or HD DVD player. The online version has already been replaced with a single dual-format player. Consumers who bought the online version before February 15 can request a free replacement with the latest online version.
Product Availability
CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra is available online, supporting the following languages: English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German, French, Italian, Korean, and Spanish. The retail version is available in retail stores across Germany from today.
