CyberLink and Kworld Showcase Remote Access to TV on 3G Phones via CyberLink Live at Computex 2007

Taipei, Taiwan----June 6, 2007----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, today announced cooperation with leading TV tuner card vendor KWorld to demonstrate remote access to live TV programs over the internet, using CyberLink Live (www.cyberlinklive.com) at Computex 2007.

CyberLink Live takes digital media entertainment outside the home to anywhere in the world. By "place-shifting" digital content from a home server, users are able to remotely access live TV, music, photos, and videos on a web-enabled device wherever they are.

CyberLink Live consists of a home server application that opens access to the media files that a user wants to be able to access remotely. A user can then login to the CyberLink Live website to access these media files via a user-friendly and highly interactive interface.

CyberLink Live will be showcased for the first time at Computex. Using Kworld’s TV tuner card, LiveQ, installed in a home server computer, and a 3G mobile device or a computer to access content, TV signals will be streamed from the home computer. CyberLink Live also allows users to watch live TV with time-shift playback functionality.

"The combination of CyberLink Live and KWorld's TV tuner card enables enjoyment of TV anywhere, anytime," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "We are happy to cooperate with Kworld to demonstrate new remote TV capabilities for the digital media lifestyle."

Aside from watching live TV from a remote home server, users can also access photos and view as slideshows, watch videos, and listen to music. CyberLink Live also allows users to share user-created content such as videos and photos to friends and family members.

About CyberLink Live
CyberLink Live provides a means of remotely accessing personal media and sharing consumer-generated content over the Internet. By place-shifting media content from a home server, users can remotely access their music, photos, videos, or even TV, on any web-enabled device outside their home.

Home PCs as the Media Server
CyberLink Live consists of a home media server application that is offered free to users. The application lets users define the media files they want to be able to access from other web-browsing devices, thus turning the home PC into a media server. By using media streaming network technologies, users are able to access the content that resides on their home PCs via the CyberLink Live website (www.cyberlinklive.com)

Place-shifting Personal Media
CyberLink Live lets users remotely access their personal media—including live TV, video, audio, and photos—by simply logging into the CyberLink Live website. If a TV tuner is installed on the home PC, users can stream live TV programs with time-shift playback directly from the CyberLink Live website.

Media Collaboration with Friends and Family
Aside from personal access, CyberLink Live also offers a way to share photos and videos with invited friends and family. It provides a secure way for users to give other people access to the files they want to share from their home PC.

3G Handset Support
CyberLink Live is developing support for the most popular 3GP streaming format, allowing the playback of live TV and personal video directly from a 3G handset.
CyberLink Live will be showcased at KWorld's booth at Computex (Hall2, E091, E092, E091E, E092E), as well as CyberLink’s demo room at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, suite 1024 and 1049.
