In fact, like so many millions of others, I am watching fewer DVDs and more streaming video. PowerDVD doesn’t care: it has an extensive feature set for dealing with streaming video including an alleged ability to download YouTube videos that I haven’t tried yet. In short, instead of shrinking in the face of declining optical media usage – its original forte – Cyberlink has expanded he capabilities of PowerDVD, essentially transforming it into a media management controller – and it performs extremely well in that role.

Thinking the negative reviews are from people who are reluctant to pay for a great product. Many think that software should be free. I bought this to watch blu ray movies on my pc. So, there are many ways to achieve this. All somewhat a pain in the neck but it can be done. So go and do it. I prefer to insert the Blu ray into my pc, put on my surround headphones, and enjoy bulletproof playback. I run an old i5-750, 4 core. 8 gigs ram, geforce 750ti. Movies play perfectly. HIghly recommend this software. Worth every penny.
