Alice H. Chang, Chief Executive Officer
Alice H. Chang joined CyberLink in 1997 as the CEO of CyberLink Corp.
Formerly the Executive Vice President of Trend Micro Inc. and investment consultant at CitiCorp Investment Bank (1988-1990), Alice brings years of experience in international sales and marketing for the software and Internet industry.
Under her leadership, CyberLink has recorded continuous annual growth, solid earnings and high market growth. In October 2000, Alice led CyberLink Corp. to be listed on the Taiwan Over the Counter Exchange at a record-breaking stock price. In 2004 CyberLink also received regional recognition as a leading small cap enterprise.
During the last two years, Alice has overseen the expansion of CyberLink's product line. Building on the hugely successful PowerDVD, CyberLink now offers a broad range of DVD burning applications and solutions for the digital home.
Alice earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from UCLA. She received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from National Taiwan University.
Dr. Jau Huang, Chairman
Dr. Jau Huang founded CyberLink Corp. in 1996, with a focus on the development of digital video and Internet technologies. As of today, Jau personally heads the product team, which consists of product managers, software developers and testing engineers. Their proven track record in developing world-class software has won them numerous awards, and recognition from technology professionals around the globe.
Jau earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at UCLA in 1988, then became a professor at the CSIE (Computer Science and Information Engineering) department of National Taiwan University (NTU) until 2005. During his professorship at NTU, he has published numerous papers in computer network protocols and distributed multimedia systems. Currently he is still an Adjunct Professor at NTU. His roles and relationship with both CyberLink and NTU kept him abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the IT industry.
As lecturer and Chairman, Jau enjoys sharing his vision of the digital video world with his product development team and is a key proponent of CyberLink's mission to be a market and technology leader.
Hyder Rabbani, Senior VP and General Manager of CyberLink US
Hyder Rabbani joined CyberLink in 2011 with primary responsibility to oversee CyberLink’s US operations including partners’ development, sales strategy and business growth in North America.
Hyder Rabbani is a technology industry veteran with over 23 years of international revenue experience in OEM, retail, distribution and corporate accounts at leading software and hardware companies.
Hyder has held key positions at early stage to large multinational public and private organizations in the areas of digital content / multimedia, networking and database software, complex technology and IP licensing, social media marketing, consumer electronics and PC hardware, including enterprise software and servers.
Before joining CyberLink, Hyder was Senior Vice President of Worldwide OEM Sales & Business Development at Nero. Hyder also served in executive, senior management and sales leadership positions at Brickfish, DivX (acquired by Sonic Solutions / Rovi), Archos, Musicmatch (acquired by Yahoo), Intel, Novell and Ashton-Tate.
Richard Carriere, Senior VP of Global Marketing
Richard Carriere joined CyberLink in 2011 with primary responsibility for worldwide marketing and oversees marketing strategy, branding, operations, and Web Commerce.
Before joining CyberLink, Richard was Senior Vice-President, Worldwide Marketing at Nero AG and President of Nero’s Americas division. Prior to Nero, he was General Manager at Corel Corporation. In both organizations, he built key brands, drove significant revenue growth, implemented innovative digital marketing strategies and delivered significant business partnerships with OEM and other industry leaders.
Previously Richard served as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he was an active member of the Technology and Telecommunications practices. Additionally, Richard has worked for Ernst & Young in Canada.
Richard has a Master’s degree from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He also studied at the London Business School and graduated from the Université de Montréal with Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Peter Lin, General Manager of CyberLink Japan
Peter Lin joined CyberLink in 2010.
Peter is an industry veteran, with years of experience in the multimedia software industry. He oversees CyberLink’s Japan marketing strategies, partners’ development, and business operations ensuring full extent of CyberLink’s value propositions are realized in the Japan market.
Prior to CyberLink, Peter was the vice president Corel Japan where he had established several successful business developments in the Blu-ray Disc sector. Prior to Corel, Peter has held several managerial positions at both Intervideo and Ulead. He was the vice president of OEM sales overlooking Japan and European markets at Intervideo. While serving at Ulead, he was the President of their Japan office in charge of overall business and operations. Peter has won many OEM partnerships and built successful retail businesses with record breaking revenues for the company.
Johnny Tseng, Senior VP of Research & Development
Johnny Tseng joined CyberLink in 1999 with the primary responsibility of R&D resource management and technical survey.
He has an extensive background in multimedia networking, high speed networking, network security and audio video compression. Currently his focus is on software engineering and operating systems.
Johnny received his Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University in 1997.
Manal Ma, VP of Marketing
Manal Ma brings over 20 years of experience in the IT industry to her role as Vice President of CyberLink Corp. She has been with the company since 1998, leading all marketing aspects. As of today, she oversees the marketing communications, customer support, web planning, design and documentation teams.
Prior to joining CyberLink, Manal has held various marketing management positions at UMAX, ADI and Schlumberger Technologies. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
