Alice H. Chang, Chief Executive Officer
Alice H. Chang joined CyberLink in 1997. Under her leadership, CyberLink has recorded continuous annual growth and solid earnings, making it a leader in the industry. In 2000, Alice led CyberLink through a successful IPO on the Taiwan Over the Counter Exchange at a record-breaking stock price, and has since helped CyberLink receive global recognition. More recently, she has led the expansion of CyberLink's product lines, building on the hugely successful PowerDVD, and growing the suite of software offerings to nearly 30 products.
Formerly Executive Vice President of Trend Micro Inc. and an investment consultant at Citicorp Investment Bank, Alice brings years of experience in international sales and marketing for the software and Internet industries. Alice has a master's degree in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from National Taiwan University.
Dr. Jau Huang, Chairman and CTO
Dr. Jau Huang founded CyberLink Corp. in 1996, with a focus on the development of digital video and Internet technologies. His vision and passion has propelled Cyberlink to grow from a small company to an award-winning global brand. As Chairman, he also leads a dynamic and award-winning product team that consists of top-notch product managers, software developers and testing engineers to deliver innovative products.
Jau earned his Ph.D. in computer science at UCLA and went on to become a professor in the Computer Science and Information Engineering department of National Taiwan University (NTU). During his professorship at NTU, he published numerous papers in computer network protocols and distributed multimedia systems. He is currently an adjunct Professor at NTU and frequent lecturer on digital discourse and technological innovation.
Hyder Rabbani, Senior VP and General Manager - CyberLink North America
Hyder Rabbani joined CyberLink in 2011. As Senior VP and General Manager, he oversees CyberLink’s operations and leads partner development, sales strategy and business growth in North America.
Hyder is a technology industry veteran with over 23 years of international revenue experience in OEM, retail, distribution and corporate accounts at leading software and hardware companies. He has held key positions at large multinational public and private organizations in the areas of digital content and multimedia, networking and database software, complex technology and IP licensing, social media marketing, consumer electronics and PC hardware, including enterprise software and servers. Prior to joining CyberLink, Hyder was Senior VP of Worldwide OEM Sales & Business Development at Nero AG. Hyder also served in executive, senior management and sales leadership positions at Brickfish, DivX, Archos, Musicmatch, Intel, Novell and Ashton-Tate.
Kenichi Takimoto, General Manager and President – CyberLink Japan
Kenichi Takimoto joined CyberLink in 2013. As General Manager and President of CyberLink Japan, he is responsible for CyberLink’s marketing strategy, partner development, operations and business growth in Japan market.
Kenichi Takimoto is a technology industry veteran with over 20 years of global sales experience in OEM, distribution and corporate accounts at leading software, hardware and semiconductor companies. Before joining CyberLink, Takimoto served as a Director at Gracenote, a multimedia software company for music/video recognition. Takimoto also held sales leadership position as global account manager at Freescale Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices.
Richard Carriere, Senior VP of Global Marketing
Richard Carriere joined CyberLink in 2011, where he leads worldwide marketing efforts and oversees marketing strategy, branding, operations and Web commerce.
Previously, Richard was Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing and President of the Americas at Nero AG. Prior to that, he was General Manager at Corel Corporation. In both organizations, he built key brands, drove significant revenue growth, implemented innovative digital marketing strategies and delivered significant business partnerships with OEM and other industry leaders. Richard has served as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he was an active member of the Technology and Telecommunications practices, and also for Ernst & Young in Canada. Richard has a master’s degree from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He also studied at the London Business School and holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the Université de Montréal.
Johnny Tseng, Senior VP of Research & Development
Johnny Tseng joined CyberLink in 1999. As Senior VP of R&D, he is responsible for overseeing software engineering and operating systems, resource management and driving the company’s technology strategy across all products.
He has an extensive background in multimedia networking, high-speed networking, network security and audio video compression. Johnny received his Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University.
Manal Ma, VP of Marketing
Manal Ma joined CyberLink in 1998. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry to lead all marketing aspects of CyberLink’s worldwide marketing efforts, including communications, PR, web planning and design, in addition to implementing marketing strategy across all teams and channels.
Prior to joining CyberLink, Manal held various marketing management positions at UMAX, ADI and Schlumberger Technologies. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from National Taiwan University.
