CyberLink SoftDMA and CyberLink Media Server Receive DLNA Certification

Taipei, Taiwan----March 10, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in Digital Home solutions, announced today that its CyberLink SoftDMA and CyberLink Media Server have received DLNA Certification (http://certification.dlna.org/products/Default.aspx).

CyberLink SoftDMA and CyberLink Media Server are both Digital Home enabling solutions that allow streaming and sharing of content such as video and audio files, or photos within a users UPnP home network. The CyberLink Media Server is ideal for realizing interoperability and sharing between PDAs, mobile phones and other CE devices supporting DLNA connectivity.

- A Software Solution for Accessing Media remotely from a UPnP Digital Media Server
CyberLink SoftDMA provides an alternative to hardware-based solutions that allow users to access and enjoy photos, music, and video over a UPnP network. SoftDMA works in conjunction with a media server—like CyberLink Media Server—to access files. CyberLink SoftDMA delivers the perfect solution for notebook and desktops within the digital home, simultaneously accessing multiple servers across a wired or wireless UPnP network, ensuring greater flexibility in sharing media content.

- A UPnP Client for PC Systems Based on Intel Viiv™ Technology
CyberLink SoftDMA offers a networking solution designed for Intel's latest digital home platform based on Intel® Viiv™ Technology, giving access to media available over a UPnP/DTCP-IP network. SoftDMA will also support access to applications designed to the Intel® Viiv™ technology specifications for remote networking. Compatibility with leading file formats and conformance to UPnP design requirements ensures broad compatibility between other qualified UPnP devices. Remote wake-up supports UPnP power management for media servers based on Intel® Viiv™ Technology.

- Support for High Definition Video and MPEG-2 Streaming Formats
CyberLink SoftDMA enables the streaming and playback of high-quality MPEG-2 content, including protected content.

- A UPnP Server for Sharing Media Files with Other Devices
CyberLink Media Server lets users turn their PCs into a media hub allowing access to media files—photos, music, and video—over a UPnP network. CyberLink Media Server works in conjunction with a media client—like CyberLink SoftDMA—by providing access to files. CyberLink Media Server simultaneously supports multiple devices across a wired or wireless network, ensuring greater flexibility in sharing content within the digital home.

-Support High Definition Video and MPEG-2 Streaming Formats
CyberLink Media Server enables the playback of quality video content with support for WMV-HD and MPEG-2, and streams video using the DVR-MS format.
