CyberLink Provides Support for Philips’ Dual Hybrid TV Tuner Chip

Taipei, Taiwan----March 13, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a leader in Digital Home solutions, announced that they will display CyberLink PowerCinema's support for dual hybrid analog/digital TV cards based on Philips SAA7162 dual Audio Video decoder PCIe chip at CeBIT 2006.

PowerCinema is CyberLink's complete TV entertainment solution supporting multi-tuner cards, Multiple TV, DVB-S IP, Teletext 2.5, EPG, TV/radio time shifting, direct TV burning to DVD and more. Philips' dual Audio-Video decoder PCIe chip allows simultaneous input of any combination of DVB-T and analog TV signals. Combined with PowerCinema's Twin TV features, this allows users to enjoy picture-in-picture (PiP) functionality from analog/digital, analog/analog or digital/digital TV sources. CyberLink will display TV tuner cards supported by PowerCinema that feature Philips' chip at CeBIT 2006.
