CyberLink Announces Partnerships and Showcases Latest Solutions for Mobile TV at IBC 2006, Netherlands

Taipei, Taiwan----September 8, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, today announced partnerships with leading mobile chipset makers, device manufacturers, and suppliers of conditional access technology, to enable the delivery of complete solutions for the mobile TV market. CyberLink is jointly demonstrating its Mobile TV Solution at IBC 2006 in the Amsterdam RAI Congress Center.

CyberLink Mobile TV Solution comes with the following key features:

  • Multi-standard, multi-band support – DVB-H, DVB-IP and T-DMBTV

  • Decodes, playback and records mobile TV signals

  • Supports electronic service guide (ESG) information with channel preview

  • Supports Windows Mobile and Linux platforms

Inventec Appliances' (3367.TW) Mobile TV Phone is a multi-standard, multi-band portable multimedia device supporting access to pay-TV content, addressing for many geographic regions. The Mobile TV phone enabled by the package of mobile chipset, conditional access technology and CyberLink Mobile TV Solution presents a completely integrated, high performing, low power, user friendly, cost effective mobile TV platform to the market.

Newport Media Inc
Newport Media's complete RF Tuner and Demodulator Solution ensures high performance, ultra low power consumption, and fast channel switching. CyberLink Mobile TV Solution enables the decoding, playback, and recording of TV accessed via Newport Media's receiver-demodulator chipset.
