CyberLink Attends DVD Association International Conference & Expo 2001: PowerDVD Receives DVD Excellence Award

February 27, 2001----Taipei, Taiwan----CyberLink, the leading developer of digital video and multimedia streaming software applications, demonstrated PowerDVD 3.0 as part of the DVDA (DVD Association) International Conference & Expo 2001 in Las Vegas, where PowerDVD was announced as a recipient of the coveted DVD Excellence Award. PowerDVD, which is designed to maximize the interactivity and enjoyment of DVDs through the PC, won in the category of Added Value and Special Features and was the sole software DVD player to be considered for the DVD Excellence Award from DVDA, whose membership includes developers, producers and industry leaders dedicated to the advancement of DVD.

PowerDVD 3.0 was showcased, as part of the DVDA International Conference and Expo 2001, in several exhibitions of the leading players in the digital video technology industry such as Sonic, Pioneer, Panasonic, Hewlett Packard and Hitachi. The three day event was highlighted by the DVD Excellence Awards Banquet on February 19 at the Riviera Hotel in which CyberLink received top honors in the category of Added Value and Special Features.
