CyberLink Offers Support for New AMD Athlon™ XP Processor with Quantispeed™ Architecture

Taipei, Taiwan---- November 13, 2001----CyberLink Corp., a leading software developer of digital video and streaming multimedia applications, is proud to announce full support for the AMD Athlon™ XP processor 1900+ with QuantiSpeed™ architecture. In conjunction with the world's best digital video software applications from CyberLink, the AMD Athlon™ XP processor allows extreme computing enjoyment during recording, editing, authoring, playback and a multitude of other options for digital video manipulation on the PC.

CyberLink will be exhibiting its full line up of Digital Video Entertainment products at COMDEX Fall 2001 from November 12 - 16 in booth LN-225 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). PC systems powered by the AMD Athlon XP processor will be showcased with CyberLink software at the company's booth. Highlights include PowerDirector Pro, the complete solution for making movies on CDs and DVDs, which provides real time transcoding of video in DV format to high bit rate MPEG-2 format. The AMD Athlon XP processor delivers the necessary processor power to maximize the performance of applications that provide real-time encoding into highly compressed formats and video rendering to produce finished movie products quickly.
