Taipei, Taiwan----February 4, 2003----CyberLink Corp., a leading developer of digital video software and e-learning solutions, announced today it will be previewing new DVD technologies at CeBIT 2003.

The DVD market has grown tremendously in the last two years. DVD players are now common household appliances, and more consumers are interested in shifting from playback to recording. No longer is DVD production limited to the professionals in the filming industry. With today's growing popularity of digital still cameras and digital video camcorders combined with mainstream computers at over 1.x GHz, consumers can easily transform videos and photos into DVD productions on their PC.

"Eventually, users want to put their edited videos and photos onto CDs or DVDs," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "Simply for the sake of storage or to share their contents with friends and family."

Both PowerDirector Pro and PowerProducer offer this feature. PowerDirector Pro is a video editing software program aimed at video enthusiasts. It is easy to use, yet powerful enough with advanced video editing functions to create and edit video footage into a story-telling home movie.

PowerProducer, on the other hand, is a shortcut to transferring videos and photos onto DVDs or CDs quickly . Its wizard-style interface allows even novice users to easily create navigation menus. Moreover, users can play the final disk on both a consumer player and on a PC.
