CyberLink Power2Go Supports DVD-R Double-layer Recording

Taipei, Taiwan----March 7, 2005----CyberLink Corp., a leading developer in providing integrated solutions for the Digital Home, announced today that its burning application, Power2Go, supports DVD-R double-layer (DVD-R DL) recording. The latest DVD-R support enables users to burn high quality video, TV recording, data, music, photos, etc. to your double-layer discs that store up to 8.5 GB of data.

"We are extremely excited and proud to announce our support for DVD-R double-layer. For users who like to burn their home movies directly from DV camcorders or any important data, this is terrific news, because of the increased recording capacity of double-layer discs compared to that of traditional 4.7 GB discs," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "Power2Go is the epitome of top-notch burning applications, and adding this support to its already existing burning features that include ripping and burning MP3 files, adding menus to video and photo DVDs, personalizing Express icons with changeable skins, and creating mixed-media discs that may be played on consumer devices, makes Power2Go the choice for burning applications."
