Pioneer Chooses CyberLink DVD Solution to Power DVR-109/A09 DVD Writer

Taipei, Taiwan--March 16, 2005--CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader and pioneer in providing integrated solutions for the Digital Home, announced today that Pioneer Japan has selected CyberLink DVD Solution, a combination of award-winning CyberLink products, to enrich its line of DVR-109 DVD writers. Through this bundle, Pioneer DVR-109 users will be able to watch DVDs, edit and author discs, instantly burn and back up data, and create and share amazing slideshows. This collaboration includes software applications PowerDVD 6, PowerProducer 3, Power2Go 4, InstantBurn, PowerBackup, and Medi@Show 3.

Pioneer DVR-109 offers dual/double layer support for DVD-R/+R media types (1) at 4x along with 16x writing to DVD-R/+R, 8x writing to +RW (2) and 6x to DVD-RW. DVD writing performance is enhanced significantly by combining CyberLink?s world-leading DVD software technologies with the DVR-109?s embedded hardware features, such as Precision Recording Technology.
