CyberLink StreamAuthor 3 Creates Effective Elearning Presentations for Maximum Results

(5203.TW), a world leader and pioneer in providing integrated solutions for the Digital Home today announced the release of StreamAuthor 3, a powerful tool that enables presenters- such as teachers, trainers, or salesmen- to create informative, persuasive and stylish presentations featuring synchronized PowerPoint files (also supports Excel and Word files), narration and video. Presentations may be published on the Web, Intranet, or on CD/DVDs.

CyberLink StreamAuthor is an authoring solution with valuable corporate applications and benefits including training employees with engaging e-learning content but at minimal costs, delivering customized rich-media sales/product presentations, effectively measuring results and return on investment (ROI) when used in conjunction with CyberLink CTMS (CyberLink Training Management System), and supporting SCORM 1.2 for easy integration with Learning Management Systems or Learning Content Management Systems.

New Features

Live Screen Capturing: On-screen action can be captured and included within published materials. Page scrolling and mouse movements can also be recorded.
Studio Mode: Timeline tracks allow laying video, audio and slides clips out. Presenters may manually adjust the audio volume of video with pin-points along its audio track. This allows recorded narration on the second audio track to be heard as a voice over to both video and PowerPoint content. The second track can also be used for adding background music.
Security Protection Features: Several options are available to protect content from unauthorized access during distribution: encryption, password protection and date expiration. Protection methods provide greater security for files being distributed via a server
Assessment Tools: Tests, from multiple-choice and single-answer questions using Microsoft Word templates, can be created and included within any presentation, and returned by a learner via email, or directly reported via a Learning Management System.
Customizable Templates: 16 adjustable design templates let presenters easily create stylish presentations.
Pen Tools: Presenters may draw and highlight screen content by drawing lines or other shapes on presentation pages, which may also be used during live screen capturing.
