CyberLink Launches Next-Generation Burning Software

Taipei, Taiwan----Feb. 17th, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a leader in Digital Home solutions, today expanded its product range for next-generation disc burning with the release of PowerBackup and InstantBurn.

Following the successful demonstrations with leading Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD partners at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, CyberLink has released archiving software PowerBackup 2.5 and packet-writing solution InstantBurn 5. The announcement adds to CyberLink’s recent retail release of data burning solution Power2Go 5.

· Provides intuitive PC file management: drag-and-drop, cut, copy, and delete, and more

· Allows the archiving of files, folders and application data
· Lets users include or exclude files with advanced filtering
· Offers scheduled backups of important data
· Includes an independent restorer utility for restoring data
· Saves archiving time with Stream-to-Disc technology

CyberLink Power2Go 5 Supports Blu-ray Disc Burning
· Burns data onto Blu-ray Discs and double-layer DVDs
· Authors videos and photo slideshows onto DVDs with Dolby Digital audio
· Allows the extraction of audio tracks from video files and the creation of Audio CDs from MP3s
· Enables super-easy data burning by dragging files directly onto Power2Go desktop express icons
· Offers options for upgrading Express skins and DVD menu templates online
