very happy. I have used this in the past and it's still easy to use. I purchased for my kids and it is a little much for 8/10/12 yr olds.

Great software for the price. I'm amazed at all the features. Be sure to subscribe to PowerDirector University on YouTube and also take advantage of all the resources in DirectorZone. Color Match and LUTs make color grading so much easier for me and on the eyes. They save me so much time and effort. Its so easy to install and everything really just blew me away.

When I first played with it, I used express settings, which let me produce videos on the fly. The features on the program are excellent, with things like color correction really helping out. I had taken some video at an office party and it had a slight tint to it, and this worked to fix it fast. The video stabilization actually works out really well, too, and especially for outside footage and when you have shaky hands like I do.

"For those that want to get into professional video editing, this is an awesome product. If you want to put together a full video that is entertaining and professional, it does take a bit of time to play around with like with all software. However I think what this product does really well is making the interface as user friendly as possible. I still use my free software for basic viewing, cutting, and trimming just because it is a lot faster with something that basic. However I come back to PowerDirector16 to combine it all together and put in all the bells & whistles. "
