Novice, just editing videos for fun in my spare time so I decided to pick up Ultra to start with. It's quite user friendly I would consider as things could be done with a few clicks which is really great. But because it includes a lot of features the average person would probably never use, sometimes you can get frustrated with figuring out the effects you're looking for.

I've search all over the place for an affordable editor with professional features and a simple user interface. With Powerdirector, its exactly what I was looking for. Some cool features I really enjoy are multi-cam, motion tracking, 3D video, auto color correction and also super fast rendering speed. You won't regret getting PD ever!

A lot of features for producing excellent videos. Clip viewing sometimes is choppy but it might be because of the PC im working with.

Received this as a present for Christmas and I've got to say it’s the best one I've gotten this year. I was working with an old version of another software, which is quite good but expensive if I was to upgrade to their latest version so I wasn't sure if it would be worth it. My wife did some research online and found good reviews for PowerDirector, and the price tag was also very affordable. I tried it out as soon as I got it and it met all my expectations and even more. The storyboard mode makes it so easy to whip up something fast and also using the video collage features just takes it to the next level, great for family videos!
