Updates:
  • Adds hardware decoding support for MPEG-2/H.264 video files.
  • Adds SVRT support for Canon AVCHD camcorders.
  • Adds subtitle support for AVCHD discs.
  • Adds DSLR video clip support with H.264 and LPCM audio.
Issues resolved:
  • PowerDirector cannot upload produced video to YouTube.
  • Aspect ratio setting of a produced video in batch produce doesn't follow the project's setting.
  • Magic Style templates (produced by Magic Style) do not have link on DirectorZone web site.
  • PowerDirector pops up a warning message when exporting a packed project to a USB device.
  • PowerDirector displays the duration, which isn't the user's setting, in video speed setting page.
  • PowerDirector crashes when trying to use any features on a computer with AMD CPUs that do not support SSE2.
  • User’s cannot edit a video effect keyframe after pausing playback by using the hotkey.

  • Program crashes when performing a trim on a video clip on some platforms.

  • Users cannot launch CyberLink PowerDirector under 150% DPI.
  • The [OK] and [Cancel] buttons in the "Preferences" dialog can't be clicked when DPI is at 150%.
  • Cannot hear menu background music if "Enable video thumbnail" is not selected.

Note:
  • If the build number of your version of PowerDirector 5 Premium is 1808 or 1816 and your operating system is Windows Vista, please contact CyberLink Customer Support and provide them with your CD-Key. CyberLink Customer Support will then provide you with a Windows Vista compatible version of PowerDirector 5 Premium.
