CyberLink Reports Monthly Revenue for December 2008
Taipei, Taiwan - CyberLink Corp (5203.TW), innovative solutions provider for the connected Digital Lifestyle, announced its un-audited consolidated revenue for December 2008 hit a monthly record, reaching NT$476.6 million, an increase of 16.3% compared to December 2007. Un-audited consolidated revenues for the fourth quarter of 2008 reached NT$1,312.8 million, an increase of 16.9% compared to the same quarter last year. For the entire 2008, its consolidated revenues were NT$4,675.5 million, representing a 25.8% growth year on year.CyberLink also announced that starting in 2009, the company would change its announcement of consolidated revenue from a monthly to quarterly basis, in line with international compliance practices. The change is expected to eliminate misleading results caused by the performance of individual months and reflects the frequency with which CyberLink!|s competitors use to announce their revenue figures. With this change, CyberLink expects to provide better information to the investment community about the company!|s seasonal performance.
