What is the “dxdiag” file that CyberLink Customer Support asked me to upload?
Dxdiag is the abbreviation for the DirectX Diagnostics Tool on all Windows operating systems. The DirectX Diagnostics Tool provides detailed system information including operating system version, graphics card information, sound card and other hardware and software information. This information is helpful for the support team to clarify some issues when inquiries are submitted.
To save the dxdiag.txt file, please click Windows Start > Run (in Vista, you can find Run function under All Programs > Accessories), and then type "dxdiag". In the DirectX Diagnostics Tool dialog box, click the Save All Information button to save the result in a text file.
You can then attach the exported text file in the technical support form.
