(5203.TW), innovative solutions provider for the connected digital lifestyle, today announced that CyberLink PowerProducer has received certification for advanced feature of the Blu-ray Disc format— AVCREC —confirming PowerProducer's support for authoring and burning high-definition MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) content onto conventional DVD discs. This is the second AVCREC certification logo CyberLink has received. The first logo was certified for the award-winning movie player software PowerDVD in June.  

PowerProducer supporting AVCREC format enables users to produce home videos, record HDTV content and other high-definition video files and burn onto DVD recordable discs using the MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) format. Consumers can then playback their high-definition videos on PowerDVD, CyberLink's AVCREC certified movie playback software.
