Executive Team

Dr. Jau Huang founded CyberLink Corp. in 1996, with a focus on developing world-class multimedia and AI technologies. His vision and passion has propelled Cyberlink to grow from a small company to an award-winning global brand and to become a listed company in 2000. As Chairman and CEO, he leads a dynamic, award-winning team that keeps on delivering some of the industry’s most innovative products. When the mobile new economy era came, he co-founded Perfect Corp. with CyberLink management team in 2015 which later became a listed company on NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) in 2022 with a unicorn valuation.

Dr. Huang earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at UCLA in 1988 and went on to become a professor in the Computer Science and Information Engineering department of National Taiwan University (NTU). He later co-founded NTU Communications and Multimedia Lab. in 1991 to initiate large-scale research projects on multimedia technologies in Taiwan. During his professorship at NTU, he published numerous papers on computer networks and distributed multimedia systems. He is currently an adjunct Professor at NTU and frequent lecturer on technological innovation.

Mei Guu began her career at CyberLink in 1996 in the research and development team, amassing 10 years of experience in developing core multimedia technology, before moving to oversee the company’s OEM business partnerships as Senior Vice President with global responsibilities. Currently, as the President of Business Unit 2, she oversees the Computer Vision New Business Unit and manages both the Human Resource and overall business operations.

Mei received her Master’s Degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.

Vincent Lin joined CyberLink in 2006. Throughout his journey at CyberLink, he has accumulated extensive experience in product management and OEM business management, and later led the e-commerce business. Currently, as the President of Business Unit 1, he is responsible for driving business operation efficiency and growing the business of Digital Media products. With over 10 years of international sales and marketing experience, Vincent Lin is able to lead CyberLink in driving global sales and marketing strategies for the digital media product lines, achieving outstanding results.

Vincent Lin holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.

Hilda Peng joined CyberLink in 2001 and is currently the General Manager of CyberLink Japan where she oversees the company’s business operations, sales and marketing and strategic partner development for the Japan market.

Since joining CyberLink, Hilda has held several sales and marketing management positions, where she was instrumental in developing Tier-1 OEM partners in the US and Japan, as well as driving upsell e-Commerce programs. Most recently Hilda led the Japan retail channel team to formulate marketing and sales strategy for the region. During her tenure at CyberLink, Hilda has accumulated broad knowledge and experience of B2B and B2C (e-Commerce) business management and has developed in-depth familiarity with the Japan software market. Hilda holds a Master Degree of Business Administration from Bath Spa University of U.K.
