CyberLink Features New PowerVCR V1.3- The MPEG-2 Real-time Recording Software with DVD Playack and i-Power bringing Real-time Online Services

CyberLink's PowerVCR is the real-time MPEG-1 recording software that is recognized for its full-frame and amazing video quality. PowerVCR turns your personal computer into a digital video creation center. Based upon CyberLink’s world-acclaimed ultra-fast MPEG compression technology, PowerVCR allows users to enjoy and record video contents simultaneously from any video source such as handy camcorders, PC cameras, VCRs or TV turners in real-time. The compressed and recorded video contents can be later edited or saved in storage devices.

PowerVCR V1.3 provides spectacular video quality output and adds extended recording time on all video capture or VGA Combo cards with Bt 8x8, Philip 711A, or Zoran chipsets. Besides the scheduled recording feature also allows you to specify the target file during configuration. Main Features of PowerVCR V1.3

Real-time MPEG-1 Recording with High Video Quality
PowerVCR captures raw video data from any analog-to-digital video capture devices (including TV Tuner) or PC cameras into MPEG-1 format file directly to MPEG file at standard CIF (352x288) and SIF (352x240) video resolution. Currently, most digital video recording process requires raw video to be first captured into uncompressed AVI format files, then converted into MPEG-1 format in a no-real time process. CyberLink PowerVCR's superior compressed ability provides one-step recording to MPEG-1 video without the need of transferring from AVI files that saves users much time and disk spaces.

AVI to MPEG Conversion
PowerVCR offers AVI-to-MPEG-1 conversion function allowing users to transform space consuming AVI video files into standard MPEG-1 format. It also converts multiple AVI files into multiple MPEG-1 files.

Editing Tools
Included PowerVCR provides “cut & paste” and “merge” functions to manipulate one or multiple MPEG video files in a single job Video format controls Full-featured video setting provides several video formats that allows professional video users to input files such as MPEG-1, AVI, YV12, Y41P, YUY2, RGB16, UYUY, YUV9, etc.

Pre-scheduled Recording
Pre-scheduled recording function allows users to view and record video contents from any video source such as TV, VCR, handy camcorders and PC cameras via analog-to-digital capture devices. TV programs can be automatically recorded by scheduled recording commands.
