CyberLink Corp. Names IT Veteran Shing Wong Senior Vice President

Shing assigned to head USA Office and Build Global Operations for CyberLink

Fremont, CA August 22, 2002 - CyberLink Corp., a leading software developer of digital video entertainment applications and e-Training solutions, announced today it has named IT veteran, Shing Wong, Senior Vice President of Cyberlink and General Manager of CyberLink USA.

"We're thrilled to have someone of Shing's expertise to oversee our global operations," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink Corp. "Shing's extensive knowledge in the IT space will undoubtedly take the significant momentum we've achieved to the next level by enhancing Cyberlinks' digital solutions."

Wong brings over 21 years of IT experience to this new appointment. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and general manager of the US and European operations at SiS. During his 10 year tenure at SiS , Wong successfully built business relationships with IBM, DELL, NEC/CI , DEC, Compaq, HP, Fujitsu/Siemens, Micronics, Intel, Microsoft and AMD. Prior to that he worked as Senior Architecture Manager at Intel defining microprocessor products for the division as well as Senior Design Engineering Manager in the research and development department, developing i486SL, i386SX and i286 processors.

Wong also owns two patents for "VLSI Design" and "CPU architecture". He graduated from Cornell with both a master's degree as well as a bachelor degree of science in electrical engineering.
