Power2Go ensures that you are ready to burn both Blu-ray and HD DVD data discs. New support for HD DVD data burning means you now have storage capacities of 15-30GB while Blu-ray disc support gives you access to 25-50GB disc space.

Enhanced Security NEW

Power2Go allows you to create secured data discs to protect documents, video files, pictures, and any other data, from unwanted access. Power2Go encrypts files on-the-fly during burning, reducing the two step process of first encrypting files to the hard drive and then burning them to a single time-saving step. All files are password protected and AES 128 bit encrypted, and you can choose if you want file names to be hidden or visible when a secured disc is browsed normally. All secured discs contain CyberLink's Secure Disc Browser, which is run directly from the disc and allows regular file handling on any PC without requiring additional CyberLink software to be installed.

Split Files Across 2 Discs

If the file you are burning won't fit on a single disc, then you have the option to split it across two discs.

You can burn to:

Blu-ray discs: BD-RE & BD-R
HD DVD discs:HD DVD RAM & HD DVD-R
Traditional formats: CD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, double-layer DVD-R and DVD+R discs

Note:

New content is appended to previous files.
DVD+R, DVD-R, and CD-R discs can be written as multi-session discs.

Data Settings

Create bootable discs

Bootable discs allow you to boot up your PC's operating system automatically.

Create auto-run discs

You can create discs containing programs that will launch automatically once your optical drive scans or reads it.

Change disc icon

To add differentiation to your PC desktop, you can customize your discs by using a new icon instead of the default.

Auto-split disc capacity

You can enable this feature in order to burn huge volumes of data over a series of discs by automatically splitting the data between discs.

Select file structure

The following file structure options are available for selection: UDF 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and ISO9660/Joliet.

Mixed Discs

CD-Extra includes Data with Your Music

Create audio CDs that include data files with CD-Extra. For CD-Extra discs, audio tracks are arranged first followed by data files. You can play songs on consumer CD players, while accessing data files via your PC.

Mixed Mode CD

You can burn both data and music to your CDs. For Mixed Mode CDs, data is burnt first followed by audio tracks. You can play music and view data files on a PC or compatible CD players.
