| Experience
CLEV with the following CyberLink products:

CyberLink
Eagle Vision augments a user’s viewing experience by intelligently
adapting video contrast and colors across movie scenes to deliver
superb colors and improved detail. Eagle Vision helps balance
overly dark and overexposed scenes, optimizing color and contrast
to deliver the most vivid images possible. The technology is
also ideal for correcting the loss of detail inherent in some
LCD and CRT monitors.
Activating the Full option under Video
enhancement in PowerDVD applies Eagle Vision to the entire
screen, while the Split option allows users
to assess the original versus Eagle Vision effects on the current
movie, and thus making it easier to decide whether or not to
activate the technology.

With
the ever-increasing choices of monitors on the market, CyberLink
maximizes flexibility and ensures greater enjoyment of movies
on a range of screen sizes. Pano Vision lets users view movies
that have been designed to fit on wider screen ratios (16:9)
optimally on standard monitors (4:3). Pano Vision provides
an effective way to watch movies suited to 4:3 ratio screens
on wider monitors too.
CyberLink
Pano Vision technology is a non-linear stretching technique
that adjusts the viewing ratio of the displayed video with
minimal distortion. The software achieves excellent results
by only stretching the video image on the edges of the screen,
leaving the center of the screen unaffected. Thus, most of
the important on-screen action maintains its original appearance
with minimal distortion. With Pano Vision, users are able
to view any movie they desire with the aspect ratio optimally
suited to their display device, even if the original movie
doesn't support it. |

Smart De-interlacing with the following CyberLink products:
CyberLink's adaptive video deinterlacing technology ensures
a smoother and clearer video image while playing video files
and DVDs. Deinterlacing is unavoidable as a result of playing
interlaced DVD video on modern high-definition (mainly non-interlaced)
displays (e.g. TVs). Without advanced deinterlacing, video can
appear jagged, blotchy, shadowy, or blurry. CyberLink's intelligent
deinterlacing technology retains video quality and minimizes
distortion by analyzing video content frame-by-frame while dynamically
applying adaptive deinterlacing only when necessary.
Users also have a choice of deinterlacing options, including
automatic deinterlacing or user-defined settings. Defining
how deinterlacing is performed and by which algorithm is under
users' control: Pixel Adaptive, Median or Bob. |

| Recommended Computer Requirements |
| CLPV and CLEV are sophisticated video processing
technologies designed to utilize the performance attributes
of today’s most powerful processors. Computers featuring
Intel Pentium-M, Intel Pentium 4, and AMD Athlon processors
at 1 GHz or higher, are recommended for optimizing the CLPV
and CLEV effects. This is especially the case if multiple audio
and video technologies are enabled simultaneously. |
