Capture Recorded Video Contents - Instant Capture

Instant capture is the most frequently used mode to transfer video from your DV camcorder to your computer. Also, you can set the time or size limit to your video capture, so that you don't have to sit beside the computer while it is capturing the video.

Simply select where you want to start recording from the DV tape, and click on the Record button in PowerDirector Pro. When you reach the end of the video, press the Stop button.

Set Time or Size Limit

When your computer does not have enough disk space, or you just want to record video contents for an amount of time, you can set your own Size and Time Limit for the video recording process. If both limits are set, the program will stop recording when it reaches either one of the limits specified.

Before you start recording from your DV camcorder, you can adjust your capture profile settings or choose to capture in real-time or non real-time. To find out more, please click here.
