Capture Recorded Video Contents
To capture recorded video content, you must first switch your DV camcorder to playback mode before you click on the DV Capture icon (Step 2). PowerDirector Pro will detect your selection, and automatically activate DV VCR capture mode. Playback shots from your DV camcorder will then be displayed in the Preview window. Also, PowerDirector Pro allows you to perform search operations on your DV camcorder tape,so you can play your recorded video, search for the next frame, pause, stop, record, and more. |

In DV VCR mode, you can capture your recorded video contents in two ways:
- Instant Capture: capture a single video from the current DV tape position
- Batch Capture: capture multiple video sequences at different time points on the DV tape.
Note: Most users will use Instant Capture,as it is the easiest way to capture from DV.
