Reliable Recognition, Even Offline

Once synced, supported cameras continue matching faces and applying configured door-access rules, even when cloud connectivity is lost. Recognition records are stored on the camera and uploaded automatically when the connection is restored.

No. Each site needs only supported Axis cameras with SD cards and a network connection. The FaceMe® Security ACAP app runs facial recognition directly on the cameras. Video is recorded to the cameras' SD cards and can be viewed through AXIS Camera Station Edge.
FaceMe® Security Cloud currently supports deployment only in your own AWS account. Other cloud platforms are not currently supported.
No. You deploy FaceMe® Security Cloud in your own AWS account and pay AWS directly for the cloud resources used by the central management service. Facial recognition and video recording run on the cameras, while AWS hosts the central management service.
Once the face database and access rules have synced, cameras continue recognizing faces and applying configured rules locally, even without a cloud connection. When connectivity is restored, recognition records sync to the cloud, and the cameras resume receiving updates to the face database and access rules.
Use AXIS Camera Station Edge to view live video on demand and play back recordings stored on the cameras' SD cards.
FaceMe® Security Cloud supports only compatible Axis ARTPEC-9 cameras. For workstation-based deployments or deployments using other camera brands, see FaceMe® Security on-premises.
FaceMe® Security Cloud does not support other add-ons, such as People Tracker. To use these features, see FaceMe® Security on-premises.
