How do I output Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master audio when watching Blu-ray Disc movies?
CyberLink PowerDVD supports HDMI 1.4, which can pass through lossless HD audio with 192 kHz/24 bit when watching Blu-ray Disc movies.
You need to have the following items:
Hardware:
- Audio card with handling HD audio capability
- Amplifier or A/V receiver with Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master capability
- Blu-ray Disc movie with Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master audio
Operation System:
Windows 7
Audio settings in PowerDVD:
1) Click "Configure PowerDVD settings", and then select the Audio tab.
2) Select HDMI in the Speaker environment.
3) Select “Non-decoded high-definition audio” in the output mode.
