How do I use Auto Reframe in CyberLink PowerDirector 365?
PowerDirector 365 supports Auto Reframe (in versions released after Jun. 2026), allowing users to automatically adjust video framing for different aspect ratios while keeping the main subject centered.
To use this feature, do this:
- Click Auto Reframe in the GenAI > Video panel.
- Import1 a video or videos.2
- Select the desired aspect ratio.
- Select the desired Motion Tracking mode.
- Click Analyze to start processing.3
- Review the generated framing result.
- Adjust the reframing box if necessary.4
- Click Add to Timeline or Export to apply the result.5
Note:
- To use Auto Reframe, import a video without existing effects.
E.g. A video with a Blur effect applied may not support Auto Reframe. - You can import up to 10 videos at a time.
- If you import multiple videos, wait until all videos finish analyzing before exporting the results.
- The reframing result may vary depending on the video content. If the result does not meet your expectations, you can manually adjust the reframing box.
- Auto Reframe exports videos in MP4 format.
The other output video properties generally follow the source video (e.g. H.265, HDR, and 10-bit).
