CyberLink Announces its Unaudited Operation Results for the nine months of 2014

Taipei, Taiwan – October 28, 2014 - CyberLink Corp (5203.TW), innovative solutions provider for the connected media lifestyle, announced its unaudited operation results for the third quarter ending September 30^th, 2014. CyberLink’s consolidated revenue reached NT$539.3 million. Operating income achieved NT$162.34 million; income after tax reached NT$183.69 million and EPS hit NT$1.83, an increase of 39% from the previous quarter or 12.3% from the same quarter last year. Consolidated revenue for the three quarters ending September 30^th 2014 was NT$1,655.66 million. Operating income was NT$498.67 million, and net income reached NT$488.07 million. Basic EPS after tax achieved NT$4.87.

YouCam Perfect, CyberLink’s fast-growing selfie beautification app for Android and iOS devices, has hit over 10 million downloads and 3.1 million MAUs (Monthly Active User) in just eight months. Following on from the success of YouCam Perfect, in August 2014 CyberLink released YouCam Makeup, a virtual makeover app with face detection and beautifying technology, which has also been receiving excellent market feedback.

To date, CyberLink’s mobile apps have amassed over 15.3 million downloads and 4.9 million MAUs in the last month. Both app sessions (the number of instances of use per installation) and user retention rates are high. Additionally, CyberLink has just released its free messenger app “U”, fully leveraging its expertise in digital multimedia to differentiate it from other apps in the messaging category.
