Parental Control Restrictions

Step 3 Once you have set the administrator, you can start adding users to your administration menu, using the "add user" menu (same as in step two). All you have to do is to type in their User Name, Password, and the Maximum Parental Level. As an example we will setup a user called Johnny, and we will not allow him to watch any rated movie titles higher than "G".

You can setup as many users as you would like in your PowerDVD program. When you have setup all the users you want, it will be shown in the User Administration list, where it indicates the Users' name, their status (user/administrator), and their restriction level.

Now, you have created a restriction list, and the next time a DVD title with parental control restrictions is inserted, the program will prompt the viewer to login first. If the user's restriction level is not suitable to watch the movie title, a warning message will display and the playback of the movie will not proceed.
